car counts are building and it should be a fun weekend.

The Atlanta Region March Double National is coming up on us quickly and we need additional
F&C volunteers to help this event be a success for our club.  Please come
out and join us for the event.

This is our first event of the 2012 Season.  Links to the weekend information
and registration on MortorsporReg.com (MSR) are available at www.AtlantaSCCA.org.

Please register early.  It is a DOUBLE
National this time, along with 2 regional class competitions…ECR and Pro IT,
as well as the very popular, Performance Driving Experience, otherwise known as
PDX. It’s a big weekend. Hope you can join us for all three days.  I know Friday
is usually difficult for some but we can use the help to assure we can cover all
the turns.

Jeff Banker will be the Flag Chief for this
event. I will assist him in any way I can and also be there to work turns.

The 2012 racing season is kicking in to high gear. We just shook down some of the track cars at Roebling Road this past weekend. We’re headed there again this coming weekend to put a couple of the racecars to test at OPM’s “World Famous Track Day.”  Then, back down to Roebling again next week for the Double Drivers’ School, then VIR, and well, you get the idea.

Gotta love the South:  There’s never an off season!
